I love going to visit HART! What's not to love? The cats are so friendly and well socialized they start purring before one even sits down! Everything is always fresh as a daisy!
Best of all of course is that .... in an area where there are very few rescue options for kitties, HART has been walking the rescue walk now for four years! Hundreds of cats have been rescued in that time! Abandoned cats. Stray cats. Owner surrenders of all ages. Even feral kittens have been brought on board ... freeing up the local TNR goddess to stay focused on her own lifesaving TNR mandate!
For four years, every cat adopted out from HART has been part of the solution! Had they not been altered, it is almost unimaginable how many kittens and grandkittens could have resulted, eh?
Special occasions should be celebrated ... so on Saturday, March 10th, HART is having a Fourth Birthday Party and Fundraiser!!! There will be some more of Laurie's legendary Spaghetti and Garlic Bread! A Chinese Auction! Some of that awesome jewelry that we see on the HART Facebook Auctions!
You might even have an opportunity to find out more about the lovely adoptables in HART's care right now .... beautiful Purl, handsome Harley, little Boots and lovely Xanthus! ... and who knows who else will be available by then?
