Do off site adoption fairs work? You bet. I was very happy to receive an email to let me know that eight good cats and kittens will now have great homes for life.
Sometimes people don't realize they are still saving lives when they adopt from No Kill groups. Every adoption liberates shelter or foster space so that one more good pet in need can be rescued.

i agree--but wouldn't it be nice to see the follow-up stories of these 8 cats in their forever homes with some pictures. For those of use who get invested with the pcitures on the websites, it is often unsettling when they just dissapear.
