I love Patrick McDonnell's Mutts cartoons! What's not to love? They are appealing and engaging! They offer a softer sell for the folks who turn away from harsh facts! Best of all, it is a popular strip that promotes pet adoption and kindness to animals! To be perfectly honest ... one of the best things I found under the tree last year was his (then) latest book!
It has been some time since Patrick collaborated with Maddies Fund to do a series of lovely PSA's for the Shelter Pet Project, but each and every one of them are still as fresh and timely as the day they debuted!
This one is my absolute favourite!
